ALLEN HARRISON
Long Cloud - 2007
oil on wood
20 x 45 x 2 inches (51 x 114 x 5 cm)

Allen Harrison - In these recent paintings, Allen Harrison juxtaposes two seemingly unrelated images. The paintings are experiments in perception and their intent is to stimulate a personal response rather than send a didactic message.

DREW GOINGS
Firebird Motor Hotel - 2007
oil on canvas
65 x 48 inches (165 x 122 cm)

Drew Goings -The subjects of Drew Goings paintings are the mundane business signs, store fronts and vehicles encountered every day. The signs - mostly neon - are older, neglected, and often in disuse. They are signs and edifices passed daily without notice, yet they are an art form in themselves. Often intended for viewing at night, the glow of the neon beckoned passers-by to a place to sleep, eat, to buy their liquor. Viewed in sunlight, these structures seem rough, even awkward. Flaws, peeling paint, and the detritus of time are all revealed.

DANIEL FIORDA
Argentinean Flag - 2006
steel - enamel
17.5 x 17.5 ( 44.5 x 44.5 cm)

Daniel Fiorda - Square Series - This collection of new metal sculptures is based on the artist’s intention to study the form and geometrics of squares. In visual arts as in architecture, geometrical forms are used in relation to space and how that space relates to human consciousness. Using the square as a springboard, the artist elaborates on the way the basic geometric principles manifest as proportions, shapes and symmetries.

TED LARSEN
Twist - 2007
two constructed objects
5 x 5 x 5 inches each   (13 x 13 x 13 cm)

Ted Larsen - Working within the tradition of Post-Minimalism, Constructivism, and the Concrete Art Movement, Ted Larsen will be exhibiting recent explorations of volume, shadow, and structure.  Larsen's work is not attempting to represent an outside reality.  He wants the viewer to respond only to what is in front of them.  Paring down to simple forms, he creates the possibility for a more direct and pure relationship between the viewer and the work.
